Isaac is one of the patriarchs of the Old Testament.  His father was Abraham.  His son was Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel.  Sandwiched in between these two stalwarts of the faith is a man that could more easily be identified with failure than faith.  In spite of his faults, God chose to memorialize him for his faith in Hebrews 11:20.  If you have ever felt like a failure, this message could be a great help in getting you to see yourself like God does.
